Biggenden was our first destination where we visited Darryl's cousin, Colleen and her husband Mal. We had not seen Colleen since 1980 when we both lived in Ayr, so it was lovely to catch up. Our next stop was Nanango where we had lunch and got fuel.
Our journey continued through Maidenwell, Crows Nest, Hampton, Toowoomba, Warwick, Stanthorpe to Girraween National Park.
It seemed quite different to what I remembered, but we soon set up camp and had dinner with lots of kangaroos around grazing lazily on the irrigated grass around the campsites. We also really enjoyed the hot showers.
